Steve Earle - Creepy Jackalope Eye

A jackalope is a fictional animal that is primarily found in North American folklore. In most stories, it is described as a hare or rabbit with antlers and, in some cases, the tail of a pheasant. The name jackalope is a portmanteau of "jackrabbit" (the English name for the real hare) and "antalope", an older spelling of the English word for antelope. The song Creepy Jackalope Eye is by the Supersuckers, who also appear as the backing band in Steve Earle's version.
